Academic Improvement

Many parents in Kenya place a high currency on the academic performance of their children. This is why for many years, the only known standard of identifying good schools was the overall performance in national examinations. As a result there has been competition for student placements in these schools most of which are categorized as national schools. To qualify for admission into these schools, student from primary schools have to 400 marks and above out of a possible 500. However, we also have schools that admit students with marks lower than 300 but who end up performing beyond expectations in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinantions (KCSE). In this category, we highlight those schools that not only record high levels of academic performance but also those schools that admit average or low grade students and transform them into high perfuming students.
